Roofing Contractor in Verona, WI
Panther Exteriors & Contracting helps Verona homeowners with HAAG Certified storm-damage inspections, roof repairs, and complete roof replacements that are typically finished in a single day.
A Local Roofer for Verona, Wisconsin
Verona is a short drive west of our office and shop in Oregon. We’re a local company, not an out-of-town crew, so when a Verona homeowner calls about a leak or storm damage, we can be there quickly.
Panther was started by owner Dan Dolbeau, a contractor with more than 30 years of experience, around a simple idea: give homeowners an exterior contractor that is honest, efficient, and fairly priced, and that treats every home as if it were his own.
Verona calls itself Hometown U.S.A., and it has become one of the fastest-growing communities in Dane County, now home to about 14,000 people. That growth shows in the housing: older homes near Main Street and the Military Ridge State Trail, and street after street of newer subdivisions built over the last few decades. Newer doesn’t mean problem-free. Roofs on homes from the 1990s and 2000s are reaching replacement age, and a single hailstorm can damage a whole neighborhood of similar roofs at once.
Roofing Services for Verona Homes
Roofing is what we do best. Whether you need a few shingles replaced after a windstorm or a full tear-off and replacement, our crew handles it from inspection to final cleanup.
Roof Replacement
Complete tear-off and replacement with Owens Corning and Malarkey roofing systems. Most roofs are replaced in one day, so your home spends as little time as possible open to the weather.
Roof Repair
Leaks, missing or lifted shingles, flashing, and vent problems. We find the source of the issue and fix it right, so a small repair does not turn into a bigger one.
Storm & Hail Damage Inspections
A HAAG Certified inspector (#201804144) checks your roof for hail and wind damage and gives you a free estimate, so you know exactly where your roof stands.

Built for Southern Wisconsin Weather
Roofs in Verona take a beating. Spring and summer storms bring hail and high winds across Dane County, and winter brings heavy snow, freeze-thaw cycles, and ice dams that can push water up under shingles. Verona sits on higher, more open ground at the edge of the Driftless Area, so many neighborhoods are exposed to strong winds that lift and crease shingles.
After a storm, the damage isn’t always visible from the ground. Dented gutters or vents, granules collecting at the bottom of your downspouts, and new water spots on ceilings are all signs it’s time for a closer look. Our HAAG Certified inspection documents what we find, and you get an honest recommendation, whether that’s a repair, a replacement, or nothing at all.

A Neighbor You Can Count On
Panther isn’t a storm chaser that shows up after a hailstorm and disappears. We live and work in southern Dane County, and we sponsor youth sports teams, school programs, and community organizations throughout the year.
We’ve also set aside a meeting room in our Oregon building for local groups, nonprofits, and clubs. It’s equipped with TVs and network and Wi-Fi connections, and Verona organizations are welcome to use it.

More Than Roofing
Roofing is our main focus, but we take care of the rest of your Verona home’s exterior too.
Verona Roofing FAQs
Do you serve the Town of Verona as well as the city?
Yes. We work throughout the City of Verona, the surrounding Town of Verona, and nearby communities across Madison and Southern Wisconsin.
My neighbors in Verona are getting new roofs after a storm. Should I have mine checked?
Yes. Hail and wind usually affect a whole neighborhood, and damage is often hard to see from the ground. A free HAAG Certified inspection will tell you whether your roof was affected.
How long does a roof replacement take?
We can typically replace an entire roof in one day.
Are roof inspections and estimates free?
Yes. A HAAG Certified inspector will look at your roof and provide a free estimate for your project.
How can I tell if my roof has hail damage?
Common signs include dented gutters, vents, or flashing, shingle granules collecting at the bottom of downspouts, and new leaks or water spots inside. Hail damage is often hard to see from the ground, so a certified inspection is the most reliable way to know.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. Please contact us for details on the warranty for your project.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard.
